I have been a patient of Dr Hugh Jones for 13 years. He is the most approachable of doctors, always attentive to what I have to say and ready to discuss my symptoms and treatment. I have the utmost confidence in him as a rheumatologist. All the many friends to whom I have recommended Dr. Jones feel, like I do, that he is both an excellent doctor and a most charming man. As a pharmacist by profession I am probably more critical than non-medical patients, but can only say how thankful I am to have been referred to Dr. Jones by my GP in the first instance.

I have been under Dr Jones' care at Kingston Hospital for over three years now. His expertise and kindness have made big improvements to the quality of my day to day life. At each appointment he is welcoming, listens well and takes time to explain any aspect of my treatment that I am not sure about, as well as all the pros and cons of the drugs I am currently taking. I never feel rushed however busy the clinic may be. My symptoms are currently under control and at present I only have six monthly appointments, however I know that I can contact Dr Jones at the hospital if I have a flare up and indeed have emailed him for advice in the past and always received a quick response. I leave my appointments feeling reassured and with a smile on my face. I feel very lucky to be under Dr Jones' care.

I have been seeing Dr Jones for a long while for my knee and shoulder injections and he has always been exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about my specific difficulties. He has helped me with all the options available to me (as an amputee with specific problems I am never a normal case!) and he and his team are always helpful and courteous.
